Beginner Surf Lessons

Set in the heart of Waikīkī, near Queen’s Beach, our experienced and fun instructor will take you out for an awesome surf session! All lessons start on shore with an introduction on how to paddle, pop-up and stand. Once you feel comfortable and are ready to try it in the water, the instructor will tow you out to the surf spot and that’s when the chee-hooing begins!

Boards will be provided and it is highly recommended that participants wear a rash guard or UPF shirt to reduce potential chafing. Water shoes are also recommended but not mandatory as lessons take place on a sandbar.

*Depending on your skill level and the tides, alternative surf spots may be suggested that would require use of water shoes. Should this happen you will be notified prior to the lesson and must provide your own water shoes.

  • 1 hour – $110
  • 1.5 hours – $150
  • 2 hours – $200
• Group lessons:
  • 2 people/hour – $180
    • 1.5 hours – $220
  • 3 people/hour – $240
    • 1.5 hours – $300
  • 4 people/1.5 hours – $330
  • 5 people/1.5 hours – $360
  • 6 people/1.5 hours – $400

*All lessons come with footage. Videos and pictures will be taken with a waterproof camera.

*Semi-professional photos taken from the shore are also available upon request for $30.
